Access Outlook Shared Folders (11-02-2004)
To access a shared folder that isn't one of the folders listed on the
"File" -> "Open" -> "Other User's Folder" dialog box, the following is required:

As mailbox owner:
Grant "Reviewer" permission to the root of the mailbox and assign the appropriate permission on the folder you wish to share.

As reviewer:
Go to the "Advanced" tab in your Exchange Server service properties and choose "Add" to open additional mailboxes.
Once added, you will see a secondary mailbox in your outlook but only the folders which are shared and allowed will be listed. Those folders can then be added to the Outlook Bar.

With OWA (Outlook Web Access) it's even easier since every object in the information store has a URL.
For example, if I want to share my "sent items" folder then I just grant the appropriate permissions in outlook and the reviewer can go to http://owa.domain.com/exchange/michael/sent items/

Note that if you share a task folder, then there isn't much use in reviewing it with OWA 2000. It is first in OWA 2003 that you can actually see tasks like an outlook client.
